We traveled to Shreveport, Louisiana on Christmas Eve,
1997, to spend the holiday with Claire's mother and her husband Louis, son
Mark, sister Mikki and her husband David Canion, and niece Bonnie. Amid
trips to church, the local riverboat casino, and taking care of various
pets, there was time to relax around the Christmas tree and open presents.
