Weekend in San Francisco
Claire stayed at the Metro
Hotel, 
which
has a distinctly European flavor. On Saturday, Claire and Mark attended
a performance of the Phantom of the Opera.
After some
bourgeois shopping in the tourist area, they had dinner at the Jakarta Restaurant,
and Claire got to practice bahasa indonesia for the first time in awhile.
On Sunday, we had brunch on the beach with Norisa Berardi
and her daughter Naima, pictured here with Mark:
Good company, 
good food, and wonderful to catch up with old friends.
All too soon, Claire had to catch the red-eye back to Michigan.
