In Belgrade, my assignment was outside the School Connectivity Project. I attended the 3rd Annual Conference of the English Language Teachers' Association (ELTA), where I was one of the plenary speakers. My topic was "A 'CALL' for Common Sense."
I also gave a workshop on communicative uses of word processing in language learning. I met many English teachers who seemed most interested in incorporating technology in their teaching. |

The ELTA Conference was held at the ultra-modern Sava Centre in Belgrade.
The US Ambassador held a reception for all conference attendees.
