Marc attended the "Tools That Work" Conference sponsored by the Child Welfare League of America in Portland, Oregon. This was the view outside of his hotel room.

Marc's sister Paige lives in Portland. He spent his birthday weekend with her and Marc's cousin Barry, who came down from the Seattle area.

This is Paige's partner Linda, who helped make Marc's visit fun!

To celebrate Marc's birthday, Paige and Barry took him on a tour of some of the spectacular falls in the Columbia Gorge between Oregon and Washington. At this fall they were fascinated watching salmon spawning below the fall.

Barry announced that he and his wife Robin are expecting this coming summer! As Marc said, "We are going to be cousins!!! " :-)
